We are looking forward to another great year of ballet with all Sioux City area dancers! Come audition for your spot in the SIouxland Civic Dance Association’s youth ballet program - Ballet Sioux!
Every Sunday dancers will join Artistic Director Rebecca McNamara for a company class based upon their ballet level, in that class they will continue to grow their ballet technique and knowledge each and every week. Participating in company dance allows dancers with similar mindset to work towards advancing their dance technique together!
Auditions will be held on September 11th - at 5678! Dance Studio ( Ballet Sioux’s Host Studio)
Junior Level - Dancers Ages 9-12 - 4:30-5:30 pm
Senior Level - Dancers Ages 13 and up - 3:00-4:00 pm
Attire: Dancers are asked to wear a leotard and tights for auditions, skirts or shorts are also allowed. Dancers will be auditioning in ballet flats, unless at the Senior level there will be the option for pointe work. Hair should be secured tightly in a bun. Male dancers are asked to wear a tight fitting athletic t shirt and shorts or tights.
Audition Requirements: We ask that dancers have at least 2 years of ballet experience prior to auditioning, you can complete the audition preregistration below and pay for the audition fee of $25 - or use code CASH to pay in cash or check the day of auditions.
